Overview

The nRF5 SDK is a comprehensive software development kit for building products on Nordic Semiconductor nRF51/ nRF52 Series devices. It provides developers with a mature and proven framework that includes protocol stacks, libraries, hardware drivers, and example applications for developing ultra low power wireless products.

In collaboration with Nordic Semiconductor, Garmin provides SoftDevice packages that include the ANT ultra low power wireless protocol. Available in ANT-only (200 Series) and concurrent ANT and Bluetooth (300 Series) variants, these SoftDevices enable flexible development across a wide range of wireless use cases and device requirements.

SoftDevice Licensing

ANT Wireless provides four stacks targeted exclusively for the nRF52 Series SoCs: These stacks are licensed for evaluation and commercial use, using a single agreement.

Evaluation Use:

• Not to be used for any commercial or revenue-generating purpose.

Commercial License Agreement and Royalty Reporting:

• Required for any commercial or revenue generating purposes.
• You can obtain the Commercial License Key by clicking below on any of the commercial licenses for the SoftDevices that you need.
• Royalty rate is $0.08 per instance, with a minimum payment of $800 per six-month period.
