Overview
The Garmin Connect Web Services Application Programming Interface (API) has been created to let users and partners interact with Garmin Connect. The API will return Garmin Connect data in a form that can be easily integrated into an application or a web site. While the API will be available to everyone free of charge, its use is subject to acceptance of our API License Agreement.
Getting Started
Coming soon. Currently the Web Services API is under development. We wanted to get the word out since it is a perfect match for the Garmin Communicator Plugin API.
We will post announcements as components become available for testing. Until then, please feel free to:
- Read the API documentation below
- Subscribe to the Garmin Developer blog
- Check out the Garmin Developer Forum
Architecture
The Web Services API is all about GPS data. Storing and retrieving GPS data is just the beginning. Some of the power that runs Garmin Connect behind the scenes will be available for you to integrate into your applications. Let us take care of the GPS so you can take care of your customers.

We’ll store and process your Activity data (GPS and non-GPS).

Access your data and the millions of activities already on Garmin Connect.
