Anoyone but me having problems getting ETA from this Nüvi765?
I can ask for ETA manually (0200), and get one, but never automatically.
On N860, N760, N660, N5000, … it works just fine as expected, not on 765
(Nüvi765T, ID:870, Software 3.40 (the latest), SupportProtocol: P0- L1- A10- A500- D501- A600- D600- A601- D601- A602- D602- A603- D603- A604- D604- A605- D605- A700- D700- A900- A902- A903- A904- A905- D900- A907- D907- D908- D909- D910- A908- D911- A912- D912- A913- D913- A916- A917- D917- A919- A918- D918)
I have tried to activate and deactivate ETA feature (Message Throttling), and can see its value change as requested, but to no use.
Examples
Ask for Throttling status:

Ask for Throttling status, now assuming 0201=1:

Now 0201=1, =on, ETA should be send,
ETA is now on, but no, I get no ETA’s, except for the the first one while activating.
I have tried ACK ETA of # -1, no difference.
Any ideas what else to try?

Hi Christen,
We also have the same problem. Any news on this?
The FMIv2 doc says:
| Code: | | The client also uses this protocol to send ETA and destination information to the server whenever the user starts navigating to a new destination. |
Which would make it a bug in the new software on these garmin devices.
We are experiencing the same problem with a nuvi 465T.
Have you already tried the new garmin developer forum? There are still no messages regarding FMI. |
