Are you guys ever going to get RS-232 support for Mac? Having been a developer for over 20 years, exactly how difficult can it be?

Will Garmin please provide some feedback and direction on their plan to support RS-232 for the Mac. Is there any plan for this? Will it ever happen? Is there something that exists that I am not aware of?
